These are the most common questions we receive about SOFX.NET, our secure, AI-free email service. If you don’t see your question here, you can contact us directly.
You can sign up directly on SOFX.NET. During the sign-up process, you’ll be prompted to create your SOFX.NET email account. All primary email accounts follow the format firstname.lastname@sofx.net for internal management.
You can also choose a preferred alias, and you’re able to create multiple aliases for external use once signed up. Once your account is created, you can access SOFX.NET through any modern web browser or set it up in an email client like Outlook or Apple Mail.
SOFX.NET supports all modern, up-to-date browsers. The following desktop browsers are fully compatible:

- Safari
- Opera
- Brave
The webmail experience is also optimized for mobile browsers that support current web standards (CSS, JavaScript, etc.), including:

Using an outdated browser may lead to limited functionality or interface issues.
Yes. SOFX.NET supports multiple languages for both the web interface and client connections. The language you select affects all major aspects of your account, including folder names, system messages, calendar items, and how information is displayed in connected apps like Outlook or Apple Mail.
Be sure to choose your preferred language during setup. You can change this setting later in your account preferences.
Yes. SOFX.NET offers optional browser-based notifications for new messages, calendar events, and system alerts. If enabled, you’ll see pop-up alerts even when working in other tabs or windows.
If you’re using a new browser or visiting for the first time, you’ll be prompted to allow or block notifications. You can manage these settings any time under your Account preferences. Keep in mind that clearing your browser cookies may reset these permissions.
Yes. SOFX.NET offers a no-questions-asked, 30-day refund policy. If you decide the service isn’t for you, simply cancel your membership within the first 30 days and we’ll issue a full refund.

SOFX Network benefits will continue to grow. We are developing new features and expanding access to more resources over time.
Yes. We verify all SOFX Network members to prevent bots and bad actors from accessing private spaces. Our goal is to build a human-centric, high-trust community made up of real people.
After sign-up, every member goes through a manual verification process. This may include a short questionnaire or a request for basic identifying information, such as a social media profile or a reference. This information is used only by our internal team for verification and is deleted once the process is complete.
Until verification is finished, access to certain network features is limited. Once you’re verified, full access is granted.
When you log into your account on SOFX.NET, you’ll see a simple dashboard that provides everything you need.
From the dashboard, you can:
- Manage your billing and subscription details
- Access your network benefits, including Signal Groups and SOFX Media reports
- Find links to upcoming features and member-only offers
- Launch your SOFX.NET email system
For security, you may be prompted to log in again when accessing your email. This extra step helps protect your account.
Yes. There is categorically no use of AI in our systems or software. Your communication remains private, with no automated surveillance, indexing, or behavioral tracking.
Yes. Our support team is available via email at support@sofx.net. You can also use the contact form on the site for assistance with setup, billing, or account access.
You can reset your password from the login page or through your dashboard. If you’re locked out or need help, contact support@sofx.net.
Once your membership is canceled, your data is scheduled for deletion in accordance with our data retention policy (30 days). We do not retain user data beyond what is required for account closure or legal compliance.
All data is deleted and unretrievable on Day 31.
At this time, SOFX.NET is focused on individual memberships. Group or enterprise features may be considered in the future based on demand.
Yes. You can migrate your existing emails using the built-in migration tool, located under Settings > Connectivity in your SOFX.NET email account.
